The purpose of this web site is to highlight Catholic Ministries in Western New York that have little or no presence on the Internet. The ministries may be diocesan or parish sponsored or run by individuals. If you would like to have your ministry listed free on these pages send information about the ministry to the Webmaster of this site. The Webmaster will determine the feasablity of including your ministry.

Web pages may take many different forms and lengths so a fill-in-the-blanks form would not be suitable. Simply provide your information, preferably by e-mail. The following questions may be of help:

Describe as much about this ministry as you wish. Explain any aspects of this ministry that should be on separate pages. See the Ministry to Parents of Children with Disabilities and the Lighthouse pages for examples.

If you are unsure of what material to include start simply and send a basic explanation. More material may be added at a future date. You may update your pages as often as you wish consistent with the Webmaster's schedule. If you wish, you may program the pages yourself and send us the html code. However, we are happy to do the coding of the pages for you. We provide straightforward pages without anything too "fancy" and shun the use of "frames."

If you have the ability to make digital pictures send them as attachments to your e-mail or send the photos to the above address for scanning. Your pictures will be placed in the postal mail addressed to you. You have the responsibility to determine the legality of publishing pictures of individuals. Do not include copyrighted material.

Your obligation: Although there is no charge for having your ministry on this site, we do expect certain things from you:
We expect you to keep your page(s) up to date. Tell us when outdated material should be removed such as past scheduled events. Do not assume we will notice on our large site that some material on your pages is outdated. Tell us about other changes that should be made too. If you program your own pages send us frequent updates as needed.

We expect you to advertise your web pages on your letterhead, brochures, and other printed material. You may either give the exact address of your first page (we will tell you on request what that is) or our opening page of "www.wnyreligion.net" where your link can be found. This helps all ministries on this site to obtain more viewers.
