What is Pastoral Counseling? Pastoral Counseling incorporates, but does not impose, religious values and spirituality. By utilizing a person’s mind and spirit, the “whole” person is ministered to.
How much time will it take? Some people come and find a resolution to their issues quickly. Others stay a while longer. The process gradually unfolds. This process may take many forms, depending on the issues that need to be addressed and how far you wish to go in dealing with them. Pastoral Counseling ends when the work is done or at the point you decide to end it.
What will my family and friends think about me needing counseling? If you have supportive family and friends, they will want what is best for you. They would want you to grow toward health and wholeness. Pastoral Counseling offers you the opportunity to be healthy in body, mind and spirit.
How much does it cost? The fee for a 50 minute session is determined by a sliding fee scale, depending on your income and the demands that are made on that income. The full fee is $90. and may be discounted depending on what you are able to pay.
