Amish parents and their son were visiting friends in a large city. The friends took them to a nearby Mall because they had never seen some of the modern things found there. While the others were sitting in the food court the Amish father and son wandered off by themselves. They became facinated by an elevator. They saw two shiny doors in the wall and once in a while they would open so they could see a small room inside. Each time the doors opened people left the room and others went in.
The lad asked, "What is this, father?"
The father (having never seen an elevator) responded, "I have no idea what it is."
While the boy and his father were watching wide-eyed, an old lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving doors and pressed a button. The doors opened and the lady rolled between them into the small room. The doors closed and the boy and his father watched as small circles lit up above the walls.
The doors opened up again and a beautiful young woman stepped out. Then they noticed a middle-aged woman go in and shortly after a young woman left.
The father looked at his son anxiously and said, "Quick, go get your mother."
