One day the parish priest went to the second grade classroom to talk to the children. As he talked to the kids the priest thought that this would be a good opportunity to encourage prayer before meals. He asked the children: "How many of you say prayers before eating with your family?"
All the children raised their hands except little Billy. The priest noticed that Billy didn't raise his hand so he asked him, "Billy, don't you and your family say the Grace before Meals?" Billy seemed embarrassed to be singled out and he became defensive. He replied to the priest, "We don't have to pray, my Mom's a good cook!
