Looking at the vast night sky,
I asked God, "Which star is mine?"
And God replied, "They all are."
I then asked God, "Where are You?"
and God said, "I am the space between the stars!"
In awe, I spoke, "God, You are the ground of my very being!"

Jan Sheridan is a professional writer, journalist, lecturer and hospital chaplain. Jan has a Master's degree in Religious Studies and has written a book called "A Way to Pray: Biblical Adaptations." Ms. Sheridan explains her current project: "For several months, I have been writing free verse poetry and reflections. I felt inspired to loosely link them with pre-existing photos I have taken the last couple of years. Although the photos evoke some word or phrase in the poem, they are not literal references.
