THE MISSION:
1. To foster unity and reconciliation with God, others, self, and all creation by providing formation for those called to the ministry of spiritual direction.
2. To minister through spiritual direction, retreats, courses,
and programs.
What is Spiritual Direction?
A spiritual director assists a directee to recognize and integrate God's presence and direction in all aspects of life. The director is a listener who helps one notice, discern and respond to God's action.
Where and how often do I meet my spiritual director?
You meet once a month or as needed at our Clarence address or at Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora.
Who are the directors?
Eight staff members and thirty associate directors are available. After initially meeting with a staff member, the directee will be given the names and telephone numbers of several directors who might be a good match. The directee may choose religious, clergy, single, married people, members of both Catholic and Protestant denominations.
SCHEDULED ON REQUEST:
The 19th Annotation applies the Exercises of St. Ignatius to the
spiritual lives of the busy person over an eight-month period of weekly
meetings with your director. $20 per one hour session.
Directed Retreats for one day to a month. $50.00 per night includes room, meals and daily spiritual direction.
Staff members are available to come to your parish or group to present the following programs: Poetry and Spirituality, Art and Spirituality, Contemplative prayer, Carmelite spirituality, Methods of Prayer, the Enneagram, Prayer and other topics.
